look, an accidental M, which i can use as my signature.
i've been exploring photography, which i've always loved, and i'm quite excited about film shooting too. have done just a little filming in the past. thoroughly enjoyed it and i must say that my work wasn't all bad. but i've never really had the chance to indulge in this as a hobby, because serious photography can be such an expensive hobby! however i get to indulge and have a little fun with photography thanks to our bulky but trusty canon powershot camera.
i brought powershot to my trip and at first i felt quite embarassed about using a bulky camera since everyone else seems to be having cute little tiny ones. but i found out whenever i did flip it out, people would comment and say that i have a nice camera. oh. then i wasn't embarassed anymore. in fact, now i'm quite proud of it. i still need to learn to just follow my heart instead of being conscious and held back by what people may think of me. don't we all?
so anyway, i had lots of fun exploring photography in melbourne, and haven't stop since. i've started putting my shots on flickr. so if interested, check them out at www.flickr.com/photos/mzshots/

I'm no expert when it comes to photography but I think you have an eye for it. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Just enjoy it and don't worry about the big camera. I think you can take better shots with better angles when you have a larger camera instead of the small point and shoot ones. A friend of mine here is a self-taught photographer who does it as a hobby. You can check out some of the pictures she recently took of Jeevan: http://picasaweb.google.com/kimballphotography
So glad to know that you're taking time out to enjoy and appreciate the arts.
